The Special Things

First time we caught each others eye

November/December 2009. At Church. Maggie couldn't believe Patrick was there by choice, next to his mom. "Who is that beautiful woman?" he thought. Maggie kept glancing over, and Patrick picked up on it.

Favorite things to do together

Patrick and Maggie love photographing weddings together. They photographed their first wedding together in October of 2010. Patrick and Maggie also love to eat Indian food. Maggie and Patrick have spent most of their relationship long distance... so quality time is their favorite... it doesn't matter what happens during their time together.

When we first met

January 2010 - We don’t know the exact day... but we remember they day we met. Maggie intentionally brought her burton back pack to church that day hopeful that Patrick would recognize/associate snowboarding with her.

Day we started dating

November 1, 2010 - This is the best day we can say. We talked a lot, we liked each other, we both were unsure, and then we were definitely sure. Patrick said “I don’t normally say this, but I can’t just be your friend anymore,” and I said “ohhkkkay.” Then he told Maggie he wanted more. So they started dating, ‘cause Maggie still really loved and wanted to be around him... like... all the time.

Our First Kiss

November 7, 2010. Patrick is a really good kisser. Really. I thought and hoped I was. But I mean he’s awesome. I still get excited thinking about our first kiss.... wowsers.

Where we both grew up

Patrick grew up in Ellicott City. Maggie grew up in Parkville.

Fun Fact

Maggie lived with her family on The Gilman School campus, one of Patricks rivals in baseball. He definitely played games there all 4 years while Maggie walked right past the field all 4 years on her way home. Little did they know they’d be getting married.
