Patrick and Maggie absolutely LOVE to snowboard. Before they started dating, one of the first places Maggie and Patrick went was snowboarding together, with Maggie's brother, Zach.

A week after Maggie and Patrick got engaged, Patrick was planning to meet his friend Derek for a few days in Denver to board. Little did he know that Maggie had coordinated with Derek, and planned to surprise Patrick in Colorado. She was going to fly out there first and pick him up at the airport in Denver....

But, the plan fell through the day Patrick proposed. After Maggie said yes, she said,

I have something to tell you too! I'm going to Denver.

Patrick was a little confused because he had just proposed to Maggie and wasn't expecting a "one up" surprise from Maggie.

Maggie, in her excitement with the proposal, couldn't keep it a surprise. So.. to Denver they went a week after to meet Derek for a week snowboarding!

Patrick had never been to Denver! It was an amazing trip!
